It is important to know how much land you would like buy and where you would like to buy. Take time to review the listings on our website www.affordableacre.com, MLS and public sources to understand the available tracts for sale. The decision may depend on several factors like your budget, your location preference, purpose of buying (such as investment, farming, build a home, install a mobile home, use for hunting etc.). You may also want to narrow down on the parcel size depending on your purpose.

Contact us!

As part of your research feel free to contact us to get clarifications about the location, our tracts etc. so you can make an informed decision. If you already know what you like, check with us the availability as sometimes parcels may have been sold already.

Do Due Diligence

We recommend you do due diligence on the tract you like. If you do not know how to do due diligence, we can help you how to go about. We want to make sure you know your tract well before you buy.

Going under contract

The next step is to go under the contract. For our Texas Tracts, we use the standard TREC form approved by Texas Real Estate Commission. This makes it easy for all parties to understand what goes into a contract. Once the contract is signed, you send the earnest money (and option fee).

Closing

Review the documents from the title company, sign the papers and you become the official owner of the Tract. Congratulations !
